Oakley Roberts, President, Data Centers, Trane Technologies, Trane Technologies
Oakley Roberts is President, Data Centers for Trane Technologies, operating within the company’s Commercial HVAC Americas business. In this role, Oakley oversees the strategic direction of the company’s data center platform while leading its comprehensive efforts to redefine cooling infrastructure for the AI era as computing demands accelerate and thermal profiles become increasingly dynamic. Oakley oversees a broad portfolio of solutions engineered to support the world’s most sophisticated data center environments. Under his leadership, the company delivers fully integrated systems including purpose-built modular deployments, high performance thermal technologies and intelligent controls. A central pillar of Oakley’s approach is full system integration – aligning mechanical systems, controls, and advanced software analytics into a cohesive, high performance ecosystem. Combined with lifecycle services designed to enhance performance, resilience, and uptime, the company helps customers deploy, manage and continuously optimize mission critical infrastructure for modern AI applications. Most recently, Oakley served as Vice President, Product Management for Commercial HVAC Americas, delivering impactful business growth and leading product performance for a broad range of the company’s highly efficient commercial heating and cooling systems. Prior to this, he was VP, Innovation for the Trane Technologies Enterprise brand, partnering with the company’s product management and engineering teams to accelerate profitable growth through end-to-end development and validation of innovative new offerings. With more than two decades at Trane Technologies, Oakley held executive roles across innovation, product management and general management, leading businesses through growth, transformation and technological change. Oakley holds an MBA from Indiana University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Wright State University.
