Paul Talbot, IES System Simulation Lead, Idaho National Laboratory
Dr. Paul W. Talbot is a modeling scientist and software architect with experience in industry, academics, and government laboratories. Since joining INL in 2014, Paul has worked in analysis and tool development in uncertainty quantification, sensitivity analysis, robust and stochastic optimization, technoeconomic analysis, and digital twins for real-time decision making. Paul earned a Nuclear Engineering Ph.D. at the University of New Mexico and M.S. at Oregon State University, and a Physics B.S. from BYU-Idaho. He previously worked at AREVA NP and at Idaho and Los Alamos National Laboratories. Paul currently leads System Simulation in the Integrated Energy Systems program.
