Karimulla Shaikh, CTO, Volta Insite, Inc.
Karim Shaikh is a technologist and an educator, and spent over 10 years enabling software solutions for power management and orchestration in data centers. He is the CTO at Volta Insite, which provides cloud-based mission-critical electrical monitoring, and also CTO at Cato Digital, which has developed innovative software-defined power solutions for data centers. Karim’s larger focus is to enable more sustainable data centers. He is a co-author of Greener Data volume 1 and volume 2 where his chapters describe the role of software in optimizing power management in data centers, and the need for data centers to think outside the traditional mindset in order to solve sustainability problems effectively.
