David has a decade in the energy storage industry, formerly at Greensmith, Wärtsilä, and Shell, including oversight of strategy, business development, financing, and deployment of grid-scale battery systems across 5 US ISOs and 9 countries. Previously, he was a consultant at Energy & Environmental Economics Inc., (E3) where he supported the Electric Power Research Institute on Li-ion energy storage market valuation, and the California Public Utilities Commission for their Permanent Load Shifting cost-effectiveness proceeding. David has a B.A. in Economics from Stanford, and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
