Barbara Gutieerrez, Managing Director, Global Natural Resources team, Aon
Barbara is a Managing Director in Aon’s Global Natural Resources team and is based in Washington, DC. She advises energy and infrastructure clients on risk and insurance strategies for large, capital-intensive projects. Prior to Aon, Barbara spent nearly twenty years at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as a Senior Attorney, where she led EPA’s National Insurance Team and worked closely with the Departments of Justice, Energy, and Defense, and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission on high hazard facilities, environmental remediation, and long term liabilities. Her expertise sits at the intersection of regulatory strategy, environmental liability, and insurance for major energy and infrastructure projects.
