Ismar Efendic, CTO and Co-Founder, DC Smarter GmbH
With over 16 years of experience in the technology industry, my career has spanned roles at renowned companies like adidas and GfK. At both adidas and GfK, my responsibilities included leading the development and implementation of new global infrastructure platforms. This involved managing global teams of more than 100 engineers and ensuring that projects were delivered on time and within budget. Advocacy for agile and lean methodologies has been a cornerstone of my approach, underpinned by the belief that these methods can significantly enhance the speed and quality of products and services organisations deliver. My certifications as a SAFe Scrum Master and Product Owner, coupled with my experience across various agile frameworks, reflect a deep commitment to these principles. A passion for new technologies and their application in solving real-world challenges has always driven me. This is particularly true for AR and AI technologies, which I believe have the potential to transform our daily lives and work environments. This vision was the catalyst for creating DC Smarter and its innovative product, DC Vision. My motivation and results-oriented approach are matched by a strategic mindset that always aims to grasp the broader picture. Communication and collaboration are among my key strengths, enabling me to work effectively across diverse teams and projects.
