Ray Berkebile, VP - Engineering, CPower
Ray Berkebile has been active in the energy industry for more than 35 years, starting his career with DuPont, then with Delmarva Power and proceeding through all legacy companies Conectiv Solutions, Enerwise Global Technologies, Converge, and now CPower. He leads a team of engineers distributed across the country. He holds a BSME from Widener University and awarded membership to the National Engineering Honor Society. In addition, he has completed his EIT and CEM certifications. Ray is recognized as an industry SME for distributed generation, Cogeneration, and other Distributed Energy Resource technology. Ray has identified, developed, delivered, and commissioned a multitude of Energy Efficiency and DG/DER projects. Ray has led the industry in developing a strategic and comprehensive approach to optimize generation assets which assists facilities evaluate any generation asset for technical capability, environmental compliance, and adherence to regulatory requirements. In addition, Ray has led the effort to identify and develop flexibility services across a multitude of industry verticals to monetize untapped energy storage.
