Charlie Beecherl, CEO, WTG Energy
Charlie Beecherl is the CEO of WTG, a leading natural gas distributor committed to reliability, adaptability, and customer-focused energy solutions. He began his career in Midland, Texas, working in exploration and production before moving into land operations with Dale Resources and later midstream development with Wildcat Midstream. In 2016, Charlie co-founded Cureton Midstream in Denver, building it into a premier midstream company backed by Tailwater Capital and Ares Management. Under his leadership, Cureton achieved several major milestones, including the acquisition of Aka Energy for $110 million and the $560 million sale of its Colorado assets to Williams Companies in 2023. Now based in Dallas, Charlie leads WTG’s strategic growth alongside a seasoned team from Cureton and West Texas Gas. Known for his data-driven approach, collaborative leadership, and commitment to innovation, Charlie continues to strengthen WTG’s position as a trusted national energy partner.
