The proliferation of Deep Learning (DL), Machine Learning (ML), and Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) is fast becoming a driver of data center growth, innovation, and optimization. End-users running these workloads require data center providers to accommodate surges in density and processing capacity/utilization, as well as a reimagined cluster network infrastructure, amongst other things.

Accommodating AI infrastructure has caused the industry to take a closer look at cooling technologies that can "handle the heat" without breaking the bank or their sustainability commitments. These include air, liquid, immersion - or a hybrid thereof while environments continue to scale.

Phill Lawson-Shanks, Chief Innovation and Technology Officer from Aligned Data Centers, will discuss:

• How AI/ML/DL are driving data center growth and innovation in data center infrastructure
• Why AI Build-to-Suit projects or data center retrofits to strictly water-cooled solutions may not always be the right path when it comes to deploying HPC-ready infrastructure
• How modern data centers are changing the industry and providing more efficient, economically feasible, and sustainable environments to handle AI/ML/DL workloads
• Potential data center implications for the future of AI/ML/DL
• Use cases from Aligned Data Centers' HPC / supercomputing / AI environments

Takeaway

• AI/ML/DL as a driver for data center growth and innovation
• The ways in which modern data centers are transforming the industry to accommodate AI/ML/DL workloads
• Use cases from Aligned Data Centers' HPC / supercomputing / AI environments
