Marty Johnstone is a seasoned professional with a strong IT product management and operational excellence track record. As the Product Manager at RF Code, Marty's core responsibility is to meticulously comprehend enterprise data center needs and strategically align them to deliver maximum value. With a customer-centric approach, he leverages his extensive experience to drive critical IT asset product development that precisely meets data center client demands.
Before his role as a product manager, Marty honed his skills during a 5-year tenure as a Sales Engineer, specializing in pre-sales activities. In this capacity, he worked closely with enterprise and colocation customers, playing a pivotal role in optimizing their investments in Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) and Building Management Systems (BMS). His hands-on involvement from initial concept through project execution granted him a profound understanding of diverse operational challenges and solutions.
Marty's professional journey also includes an 8-year tenure at the CME Group in Chicago. During this period, he led the deployment of 17,000 environmental monitoring sensors and seamlessly integrated them within various systems. This monumental project not only streamlined facility operations but also enriched Marty's expertise in harnessing environmental and power data for operational efficiency enhancements.
Marty holds a Bachelor of Science in Operations and Information Management, underscoring his commitment to optimizing operational processes. Complementing this, he has earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Northern Illinois University.
