Jacqueline Underwood is Lead Economic Development Project Manager for Florida Power & Light Company, one of the nation’s leading electric utilities. She supports economic development efforts throughout Florida with incentive rates for growing businesses, capacity building community programs and resources to local and regional economic development organizations. She directly supports data center and cryptocurrency business development projects throughout the state.
Jacqueline has worked in FPL’s Marketing & Communication, Human Resources and External Affairs & Economic Development business units during her 13 years with the company. She has worked on various projects across the company, including supporting projects such as Energy Smart Florida, the company’s smart meter and smart technology initiative, spearheading the college relations and intern program and most recently, managing the company’s employee giving campaigns.
She has always worked closely with the communities FPL serves to make Florida an even better place to work and raise a family.
She is a graduate of Leadership Palm Beach County Class of 2018.
Prior to joining FPL in 2008, Jacqueline worked for a marketing firm in New York City managing several national accounts.
Jacqueline earned a B.A. degree in Intercultural and Organizational Communication from Florida Atlantic University.
