Daren Shumate is an Electrical Engineer with over 35 years of MEP industry experience and licensure across more than twenty states. He has built vast experience across a wide array of sectors, but his particular focus and passion has been mission critical, hyperscale data sectors since the 1990s. Shumate has made this the hallmark of his namesake firm, Shumate Engineering, which started in 2020, employs over 15 engineers across three offices.

Shumate Engineering was founded to be the firm that Daren always wanted to work for early in his career – interesting and challenging projects; creative and resourceful team; excellent work atmosphere and benefits; and progressive leadership.
