Ravi Pendekanti, SVP Product Management and Marketing, HDD BU, Western Digital

Ravi Pendekanti is Senior Vice President of Product Management and Marketing for the HDD Business Unit, Western Digital, where he leads HDD product planning, pricing, segment marketing and competitive analysis. He is responsible for the strategy, roadmap design and go-to-market (GTM) approach for the expansive HDD product family, and for driving preference for Western Digital's HDD portfolio across consumer, enterprise and OEM markets. Previously, he was the Senior Vice President of Server and Networking Portfolio Management at Dell Technologies. His organization was responsible for product and go-to-market planning and execution for the flagship Dell EMC PowerEdge platform, the No. 1 server sold worldwide to a wide range of customers, from cloud service providers and small businesses to large enterprises and organizations. His group was also responsible for the Networking portfolio along with the compute portion that formed the basis of its storage line as well. Prior to Dell Technologies, Ravi served as the Vice President of the Platform Business Group at Oracle where he was responsible for GTM activities, including product marketing and sales enablement for the platform businesses of Engineered Systems, Servers, Solaris and Networking. With three decades of experience in technology industry, he has also held leadership roles at organizations such as Juniper Networks, Hewlett-Packard, Sun Microsystems, and Silicon Graphics. A seasoned executive in product marketing and management, Ravi has been an advisor to companies such as Tanla, Solix and Olixus, along with several startups in stealth mode. He is an involved mentor to startup CEOs and other executives in the industry. He holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Kakatiya University and a MS in Computer Science from Florida Institute of Technology.
