Chris is a Distinguished Engineer in IBM's Global Technology Services organization. He is responsible for designing word class IT infrastructure management systems for IBM's largest clients, which represent the foundation of our global economy across several industry sectors. Chris’ leadership in capacity management led to his patented technology being installed on over 300,000 servers world wide. Chris previously led the physical data center strategy for IBM’s Global Technology Services seven million square feet of space, and was on the board of directors of The Green Grid. Chris was on international assignment in Australia for two years, and has worked extensively on implementing new technology in global accounts for business value. Chris was a co-author of the book “IT Virtualization Best Practices: A Lean, Green Virtualized Data Center Approach”, and author of a dozen refereed white papers on capacity management. He is an IBM Master inventor, holding patents in the capacity management and physical datacenters.
