Marcelle Lee, Cybersecurity Researcher, Self
Marcelle Lee is a security researcher, adjunct professor, author, and training consultant with over a dozen years of experience in cybersecurity. She specializes in cyber threat analysis, research, and reporting, identification of tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), campaign tracking, threat hunting, network traffic analysis, intrusion analysis, digital forensics, malware analysis, and technical writing. Marcelle has worked in both the government sector and private industry.
Before embarking on her cyber career, Marcelle led operations and projects for various organizations. She has been actively involved with many industry organizations, working groups, and boards, including the Women’s Society of Cyberjutsu, the NIST Cyber Competitions Working Group, and the Cybersecurity Association of Maryland Advisory Council. Marcelle also builds and participates in cyber competitions.
Marcelle holds numerous industry certifications, including CISSP, GCFA, GCIA, GCIH, GPEN, GISF, GSEC, GCCC, C|HFI, C|EH, CSX-P, CCNA, PenTest+, CASP+, Security+, Network+, and ACE. She has earned four degrees, including a master’s degree in cybersecurity. Her accolades include the Chesapeake Regional Tech Council Women in Tech (WIT) Award and the Volunteer of the Year award from the Women’s Society of Cyberjutsu.
Marcelle frequently presents at conferences and training events and is an active volunteer in the cybersecurity community. She is driven by a mission to advance and empower people in the field of cybersecurity.
