John has 35 yrs of experience with planning, designing, and building various types of mission-critical and industrial projects. Current efforts center around research and deployment of sensor and modular technology for design-build work, supporting Site selection, pre-construction, engineering, and estimating processes from design thru operations. Past experience includes training teams and writing design standards in the use of 3D model-based studies, coordination of design for mechanical and heavy electrical projects, and coordination. Key clients served: Microsoft, Amazon, Ford, General Motors, Alcoa (now Arconic), Goodyear, Northwestern Medicine and several Universities around Chicago, FAA at multiple locations (Great Lakes Region), Chicago Intl Terminal, Hi-rise hotel and residential tower projects (Related, Loews, Langham, Carlson Group, White Lodging). Modular electrical rooms for large-scale 50 + MW data centers. Milestones: Numerous Industrial-fast track projects. Trained Operations for Lend Lease on VDC. Led the first team to design and build a long-range radar station for the FAA, replaced an ATCT MSP Airport using a Sikorski helicopter, saved 30% off nationwide purchases by implementing an e-commerce site for LSG Skychefs (Aecom) patent for my mobile office "The CADMobile".
