Dr. Martin Hering has an extensive interdisciplinary global background in the field of solid oxide fuel cells, especially in regards tosystem design, deployment, controls, testing and simulations as well as business field analysis, business development and techno-economic calculations. Dr. Hering received his Ph.D. of Engineering from the Clausthal University of Technology in 2018 (Ph.D.thesis title: Evaluation of the effects of varying fuel quality on solid oxide fuel cell systems). Dr. Hering joined the Corporate Research of the Robert Bosch GmbH in Germany in 2015 and worked on the pre-commercial development of small-scale fuel cell systems as a general research, research engineer and project manager. Since 2020, he is responsible for the Business Development for stationary fuel systems in North America (at the Robert Bosch LLC).
