Henry FrancTechnology Solutions Architect Belden

Henry Franc RCDD OSP CDCDP is the Technology Solutions Architect for Belden Canada responsible for professional support acting as a trusted advisor to end-users as well as the professional community. As a solutions architect it is his role to act as a ‘trusted advisor’ to provide technical, operational and planning support from a premises and enterprise perspective; focusing not just on products but on business drivers across industry verticals and around the world; with particular emphasis on data centers and complex projects. Henry is also an active member of various Standards Development Organizations (SDOs). Currently he is working with BICSI, The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA), and ISO/IEC (through the Standards Council of Canada). Henry participates in standards development across technologies and industry verticals. He is the current Vice-Chair of the TIA TR-42 engineering committee for Telecommunications Cabling Systems. His contributions within international standards include “ANSI/TIA-942 Telecommunications Infrastructure Standard for Data Centers”, Sustainable Information Communications Technology, Pathways & Spaces, Grounding & Bonding, as well as Infrastructure Administration. Currently he is involved with SDO initiatives for new standards in Digital Buildings, Security, Places of Assembly as well as the continued evolution of the performance based media, premises, topology documents. Henry has been involved with standards development and industry best practices for more than 20 years and has been involved with data center development and other projects in all industry verticals and across the globe.
