Jennifer Downing, Engagement Officer, Loan Programs Office, US Department of Energy

Jen is an Engagement Officer at the U.S. Department of Energy Loan Programs Office, leading business development for the Title 17 Clean Energy Financing Program. In her former role on LPO’s strategy team, Jen led the publication of DOE's Pathways to Commercial Liftoff report for Virtual Power Plants and contributed to the Liftoff report on Innovative Grid Deployment. Prior to joining DOE, Jen was a Senior Manager at Bain & Company in the Strategy practice. She holds a BA in Ethics, Politics, and Economics from Yale and MBA from Harvard where she was a Baker Scholar.
