Ed d’Agostino joined DE-CIX North America in April 2014 and has since been responsible for driving the business to become the largest and fastest growing IX in the New York metro market with over 220 networks connected.  DE-CIX Dallas, launched in 2016, now with 70 networks and one of the top 20 exchanges in North America, DE-CIX is the fastest growing IX in each market.

Prior to joining DE-CIX North America Mr d’Agostino was the Director of Sales, IP Exchange Services, for  Arbinet (now PTGi), where he directed sales for IP Exchange Services initially in New York and later throughout the US.

Before joining Arbinet, Mr. d’Agostino was the Director of Business Development for CRG West, a unit of the Carlyle Group (now CoreSite)  where he led numerous initiatives in carrier hotels around the country including One Wilshire.

Prior to joining CRG West, Mr. d’Agostino was Director of Carrier Product Marketing at Metromedia Fiber Network (then AboveNet, now Zayo) where he was in charge of all  carrier products throughout the US including metro rings, colocation, regional long-haul, and long-haul wavelength services.

Mr. d’Agostino earned a M.B.A. from the University of Virginia, Darden Graduate School of Business Administration and a B.A. in Economics from Dartmouth College. He currently resides in Washington DC.

Ed d’Agostino is a recognized source and commentator on topics, including peering, Internet Exchange and IP traffic worldwide.
