This discussion will cover how data centers can implement technology platforms based on Artificial Intelligence and Machine learning to improve the data hall temperature conditions, maintain temperature compliance, and drive operational, energy and sustainability improvements not only in existing data centers but also how to incorporate the technology in greenfield builds.

Case Study: A global Colocation Data Center Client wanted to improve their energy efficiency and PUE across their portfolio. BGIS conducted a wide scale assessment of the facility and determined they could decrease energy consumption by implementing the Vigilent Dynamic Cooling Management® Solution at their large 5MW, 100,000 SF Data Center. The results were remarkable, in less than three months the system was installed, airflow remediation was completed, and the cooling power consumption was decreased by over 15%! IT cooling capacity increased, creating cooling redundancy, while providing a solution of cold aisle temperature management and service level compliance of the managed data center space.
