The information technology community continues to migrate and deploy "higher power kW" compute racks. Some high-performance compute (HPC) racks have ranges from 30kW to 90kW. This presentation will focus on challenges and solutions in deploying these racks in data centers.
Takeaway
- The HPC solution should be modular, scalable, reliable, flexible, and energy efficiency.
- The role of computation fluid dynamic models are critical is understanding and addressing the optimal thermodynamic solutions.
- Some configurations of HPC require varying levels of reliability that impact the total cost of ownership.
