Every single digital infrastructure needs a method to manage their critical infrastructure. Today, the adoption of DCIM has reached the mainstream. As an industry, we've moved from whether to use it, but how to use it. According to AFCOM's “State of the Data Center Survey,” most data centers are using DCIM for environmental monitoring, security, facility, and power/energy management. However, using DCIM for AR/VR, CFD, and integration with other smart systems is less common. Now, new solutions around energy and even digital twins are impacting how DCIM systems are being deployed and utilized. This session will turn to data center practitioners and end-users to understand the benefits of common integrations and the challenges and solutions for utilizing more advanced integrations with DCIM.

Bill Kleyman will moderate and discuss with three end users of three different DCIM products: Sunbird, Nlyte, and Hyperview. It will be an honest and open conversation that encourages audience questions & participation.
