As former members of the armed services, veterans by definition are mission-focused and trained to think quickly and decisively to resolve problems. In short, they are natural resource for data center operations. In this presentation, Lee Kirby, Chairman of Salute Mission Critical and Sudhir Kalra, Compass Datacenters' SVP of Global Operations, will present a case study of how the companies have partnered to operate Compass' new facility in Toronto. Included in this discussion will be an emphasis on the importance of compatible corporate cultures to cultivate an effective working relationship that provides a superior level of support to the facility's occupants. The importance of these cohesion will be illustrated through a chronology of the process involved in the assemblage of the Salute operational team and the development of the operational procedures for the site. During the course of the presentation Mr. Kiry and Mr. Kalra will also emphasize how Salute's mission of helping veterans enter the data center industry aligns with the operational needs of today's data center providers.
